Read, Rewrite, Burn Tag

book tag

I saw this tag on Kristin from Kristin Kraves Books’ page and really liked her responses so I thought it would be fun to do it myself. I will be using random books off my Goodreads shelf so here we go!

THE RULES:

  • Randomly choose 3 books
  • For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread (like Marry, Boff, Kill).
  • Repeat until you completed three rounds (or six) (or however many you want to do).

Round #1

Reread: My Blood Approves by Amanda Hocking. This series was so amazing. I haven’t read it in so long that it is due for a reread.

Rewrite: SINthetic by J.T. Nicholas. This book was good but there a few things I would have changed to make it better

Burn: The Ghostwriters by Mickey J. Corrigan. This book was okay but extremely fast-paced and I could have lived without reading it.

Round #2

Reread: Honestly, I would reread both I am Number Four and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I loved them both, book and movie.

Rewrite: I definitely would not change anything in Perks so I might change a few things in I am Number Four.

Burn: Don’t get me wrong, I love John Green’s books, but An Abundance of Katherines is definitely not my favorite.

Round #3

Reread: Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham no doubt about it. I grew up watching Gilmore Girls with my mom, and I absolutely love Lauren Graham. I loved her in Gilmore Girls, Parenthood, Because I Said So, etc. This memoir is amazing.

Rewrite: I may have made a few changes to If I Stay, not many but maybe a few.

Burn: Broken Chords wasn’t a bad book it was just fast paced and sometimes hard to follow. I don’t think I would have missed out on much had I not read it.

I want to tag anyone who wants to do this tag! I would love to read about which books you would reread, rewrite, and burn!
