Top 5 Tuesday | Rewind Books

This is my first Top 5 Tuesday post and I’m super excited to be joining in on this meme. This meme was created by Bionic Book Worm and works like this: You list five things that go along with that week’s topic and then link back to the Bionic Book Worm’s post. This weeks topic is Top 5 Rewind Books – books I don’t talk about enough.

Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira

This is a really good book but I don’t know anyone else who has read it, so I don’t talk about it much.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

This was a great book and I don’t think it gets talked about enough. The movie is good too.

Looking for Alaska by John Green

This is one of my favorite John Green books. I wish they would make this book into a movie. Maybe if it was talked about more they would make the movie.

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

I loved this series. I don’t think the fact that they screwed it up in the movie and the TV show is talked about enough.

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

This was a difficult read until I saw the movie then it clicked. I don’t understand why this book didn’t get as much attention as the Twilight series.

    Welcome to Top 5 Tuesday!
Fantastic list! The Perks of Being A Wallflower and The Host are two books that I don’t talk about enough myself! I liked The Host more than I liked Twilight. The first 100 pages were a struggle but then I ended up so emotionally invested I cried like a baby at the end!!
Thanks for participating – added you to the participants list 🙂

Haha, I love how you said you don’t think the fact that they screwed up the MI movie and show is talked about enough. I secretly enjoyed the movie, don’t shoot me, but didn’t watch the show past episode one.

I’ve just finished with “The Mortal Instruments”. Half of the time I wanted to strangle Clary, or hit it with her own book. She was so annoying in the first three books. And I’m glad C. Clare has decided to continue on with the series. Jonathan (Sebastian) Morgenstern will forever be one of my favorite villains. hehehe The books that I really like but not talk enough are two series actually: Dorothy Must Die and The Chemical Garden.
It’s my first time on your blog, but you have some interesting posts. I’ll keep an eye on it 🙂
