This week’s Top 5 Tuesday is about the five authors we want to meet. Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Bionic Book Worm where she comes up with weekly topics and every Tuesday book bloggers such as myself post their top five answers. For me, there are plenty of authors I would love to meet but, I’m going to try to narrow it down to my top five.
Cassandra Clare
Clare is the author of The Infernal Devices, the Mortal Instruments, and several other books but, you probably already knew this because she is a well-known and loved author. I’d like to meet her because she is a wonderful author and I’d love to know where she draws her inspiration from and her creativity. I thinks she’d be pretty awesome.
John Green
Everyone probably knows who John Green is. Green is the author of bestsellers The Fault in Our Stars and Turtles All the Way Down along with several others. I absolutely love his books and would love to meet him and ask about the inspiration behind his books as well.
Nicholas Sparks
Nicholas Sparks is a romance author known for books like The Last Song, The Lucky One, The Longest Ride, and Safe Haven. I’m still trying to play catch up on all of his books because he just keeps churning them out. Like dude, where do you come up with all of this? That’s probably exactly what I would ask him if I got to meet him.
Rick Riordan
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series was the series that I read in its entirety. The Kindle had just come out and I wanted one for Christmas that year. My mom said I could have one if I proved I would actually use it because they weren’t cheap. So I read this series and got my kindle. I’ve got two more of his series that I have not read yet but I’m looking forward to getting to. I’d love to meet and tell him that.
Amanda Hocking
Hocking is the author of Trylle Trilogy and My Blood Approves series and many more. I loved both of these series. I would love to meet her and ask about her inspiration for her characters and stories.
Cassie Clare is on my list too!!

Fantastic list! For some reason I assumed that Nicholas Sparks would be much older! I don’t know why I thought that!
Thanks for participating – added you to the list 🙂
