WWW Wednesday #16

WWW Wednesday

It’s Wednesday! Which means it’s time to talk about the books we are reading! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. You should go check out her page and everyone else’s WWW Wednesday. I’ve been reading a lot more than usual lately which is totally fine by me. The last two books I read I liked a lot and hopefully, that streak will continue.

The three W’s

I started this last night like right after I finished the other book I was reading. It was a quiet night, my brother was at a friend’s and my mom was doing her own thing, so I just kept reading. I didn’t get very far because my kindle battery was dying and it was getting late, but so far the gist is that A teen went missing and this guy is helping the FBI find him but for a price; he kills someone. At least that’s what I think, I don’t know for sure yet. We will see.

Chips in a Bag was pretty good. It’s about this couple who end up splitting up because the boyfriend sleeps with someone else and the girl moves to London and then moves back thirty years later only to find him again. It’s more in-depth and complex than that but you know. I was asked to read and review this and I’m glad because I really liked it.

Final Draft I finished last night and it was soooo good. It’s about this girl who likes to write sci-fi but she only lets her creative writing teacher read her stories. Something happens to the teacher and their substitute ends up being this Pulitzer Prize-winning author who, after weeks of her grade barely changing, tells Laila she needs to experience life in order to be a good writer. So that’s what she does. It was really good and I enjoyed so much.

I’ve heard so many good things about this book. I can’t wait to jump in and read it. It sounds pretty interesting, probably different than what I’m used to. I’m trying to branch out in genres so we’ll see!
