August TBR

August TBR

It’s been a few months since I’ve posted a TBR list, so I decided to do one today. There are several books I’d like to read and/or finish this month. I’m hoping nothing crazy happens this month and I can actually get some reading done. Last month was just so crazy. I kept getting sick and not feeling well which put me in a BAD reading slump. BUT I am doing better and ready to read again. Anyways, let’s take a look at my TBR list for this month:

I requested several of these short, fast-paced books from NetGalley and Orca publishing because I loved the first two books that I read from them. It’s not the same authors, but the stories are similar in a way, but also different. I’m reading more than one book at a time, so these short little reads are perfect. Be on the lookout for reviews soon!

I’ve been reading this book for a little bit. It’s taking me longer than usual to finish because I haven’t felt that great the past few weeks which put me in a reading slump. More like a do nothing slump, but I’m feeling better now and it’s time to finish reading it.  I’m about halfway through it and I love it. I love the way it’s written, the characters, the point it’s making, everything. I can’t wait to see the movie when it comes out in a few months.

I’d also like to finish this book since I started it forever ago and have not finished it. It’s not that it’s bad, because it’s not, it’s actually really good. I just haven’t been able to stay on track with my books here lately.

I need to finish reading this one as well. This book turned out to be something totally different than what I thought it was. Or the lack of what I thought it was? I don’t know. It’s something different than what I thought it was (in a good way I hope). We will see!

That’s my August TBR, what are you reading this month? Have you read any of these books?
