October TBR

October TBR

I know I’m a little late with this post, but better late than never right? I haven’t been doing TBRs and Wrap-Ups for a while and I thought it was about time I got back into it. This month I’ve decided to attempt to read four books. I have already finished one of them, but unfortunately, I’ve been sick for the last two weeks and haven’t been reading much. I am still going to try to finish all four books by the end of the month but given it already the middle of the month and I’m only on the second book,  wish me luck!

This month I want to read:

I have already read Saving Zoë. I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s about a girl named Echo whose sister, Zoë, was murdered and Zoë’s boyfriend gives Echo her sister’s diary and as she reads it she learns more about her sister how to grieve her loss. You can read my review here.

I wanted to re-read Looking For Alaska because of the mini-series they are doing on Hulu. It’s been a while (years) since I read it the first time so I thought I might as well re-read it.

In the spirit of this month, I thought I’d try to read at least one horror novel. I’m really excited about Imaginary Friends because I like the way Stephen Chbosky writes (The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of my most favorite books ever). I can’t wait to get into it. I also wouldn’t mind reading Carrie because I have a couple Stephen King books and I haven’t read them yet so I honestly don’t know if I even like his writing. I thought it was about time to find out.

What are you reading this month?
