Hey guys! This week’s topic is ‘Books I Didn’t Get to in 2019.’ Picking just five books that I would’ve liked to read this year is hard because c’mon there are sooo many books. I did it though, and I can’t wait to read your list as well.
Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Shanah @BionicBookWorm. Each week we respond to that week’s topic and link back to her page. Go check out her page to join in!
So, when I first started reading the Harry Potter series I was going to read them in-between other books that I was reading. Good plan, right? Not so much. I’ve read the first three books and I really need to read the rest of the books, I just didn’t get to them this year. There are just so many books and I just get distracted. I can’t be the only one, can I?
I got On the Come Up from Book-of-the-Month a while ago, like when it first came out. I picked it because I LOVED The Hate U Give. Obviously, I didn’t get to it or it wouldn’t be on this list. Again, I was distracted by other books and ARCs and all that.
I got a used copy of this book a while back after hearing really good things about it, but just like the rest of these books and many others, I have not gotten to it. Hopefully, I can get to it in 2020.
I know I’m late to the party with these books as well. I read the first book of this trilogy earlier this year totally expecting to read them all but got caught up in ARCs and other books. I definitely plan on getting to them as soon as I can.
I absolutely LOVE Cassandra Clare and her books. I have the Infernal Devices, The Mortal Instruments, and almost all the books for the Dark Artifices and I really want to read them all in order, but that’s twelve books and I need to find some time to do that so hopefully I can do that soon. I’ll just have to stop requesting books on NetGalley. (Yeah, right.)
