Top 5 Tuesday | Books I Need to Read in 2020

Hey Guys! This week’s topic is ‘Books I Need to Read in 2020.’ There are a lot of books I’m really excited about reading this year. I’ve actually already read a couple books that were published this year and loved them, so I’m off to a good start. I can’t wait to see what everyone else’s lists!

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Shanah @BionicBookWorm. Each week we respond to that week’s topic and link back to her page. Go check out her page to join in!

I’m really excited about this book because it sounds really good. I actually received a copy in the mail a week or two ago. I was really surprised. I’ll probably be reading it soon because it’s being published next month, so be on the lookout for a review soon!

Ruthless Gods

I can’t even tell you how excited I am for this sequel. I read Wicked Saints last year and have been ‘patiently’ waiting for the sequel ever since. I will probably do a reread of Wicked Saints before I read Ruthless Gods though because it’s been a minute since I read the first book, and it’s always nice to reread good books.

Hearing about this book last year was so awesome. It’s been a while since I read The Hunger Games trilogy, but I’m super excited about this book. I’m actually going to do a reread of the trilogy with Sam @SleepySamReads before the prequel comes out in May.

This book sounds really good and I can’t wait to read it. I actually just got approved on NetGalley a couple days ago and I am so happy! Hopefully, I’ll get to it soon so be on the lookout for a review.

Jane Anonymous

I’ve actually already read this book this year, but it was too good not to mention. I absolutely loved this book. It was written so well and it’s actually a good book to open your eyes about things that happen all the time. Check out my review here.

What books are you looking forward to in 2020?

Great choices! I’ve read Ruthless Gods and it is as awesome as its’ name! Jane Anonymous is really good as well. There are so many books out there where women are taken captive and this one seems to be something that could actually happen in real life. She doesn’t fall in love with her captor, and she is traumatized from her experience for a long time after she is home again.

I’m really looking forward to Ruthless Gods, too! I haven’t read Wicked Saints yet, so it’s a perfect time to read it right before the second comes out. xD I’m gonna pretend that I conveniently planned that. I think the book I’m most excited for in 2020, though, is Harrow the Ninth! :3
