I think we can all agree that January has been the longest month EVER, but it is finally over and it’s time for a recap. I haven’t done much this month except read and make a couple of bracelets. I only watched maybe one new show and one or two new movies. Keep reading for more!
Books I’ve read in January:
A friend let me borrow this book and I enjoyed reading it. It’s a pretty easy read, nothing too exciting happens. It’s about two sisters who haven’t seen each other in years and when one sister comes to visit the other they have to face their past.
I am finally working my way through the Harry Potter series. Yes, this is my first time reading them and I am continuously beating myself up about not reading them sooner. I really liked this one. I’m really excited about reading the rest.
This is a great self-help book about bettering yourself and learning to love yourself. It has 201 journal prompts that I think would be great for anyone to do. You should check out my review.
This was such a great book! I am so glad I requested this book on NetGalley. It’s about a girl who gets kidnapped and the chapters go back and forth between the time she was kidnapped and when she returned home. Check out my review.
This book was pretty good, but not as good as I thought it was going to be. It’s about a girl with CP who is trying to find her independence, all while her childhood crush has moved back in town. It’s cute and a little relatable. Check out my review.
The one new show I watched:
My mom and I decided to check out what The Witcher was all about, and I can honestly say, I barely knew what was going on until the second to the last episode. Henry Cavill did an amazing job playing that character. Maybe one day I will actually read the books.
Movies I saw in January:
I went and saw Dolittle and I’m sad to say that it was not that good. It had some funny moments, and Robert Downy Jr. did a great job as usual, but the plot and everything else was weird and didn’t make a lot of sense.
I know Baby Driver isn’t a new movie, but it was the first time I had ever seen it. I really liked it except for Jamie Foxx’s character, which is disappointing because Jamie Foxx isn’t a bad actor.
And, last but not least, the bracelets I made this month:
